Heat and Sound Insulation Products
Agriemach offer a wide range of heat and sound insulation products for a whole host of applications. From the Classic Car enthusiast to the Off-Shore Steam Boiler, we offer a catalogue of solutions which are mostly off the shelf or can be made to order as a bespoke design. Our range consists of some of the following; Exhaust Insulation Wrap, High temperature fibre glass sleeve, Turbo Insulating kits, Heat Barriers, silencer covers, spark plug heat shields, starter heat shields, thermo shield tapes, self-vulcanizing fire tapes, bespoke thermal jackets and much more. Our heat insulation products are used throughout many industries such as Industrial Stationary Engines for power generation, Mobile Plant, Motorsport, Motorbikes, Formula One and Classic Restoration Projects. As an ISO9001 accredited company we pride ourselves in both the quality of product and service we offer, along with our extremely competitive prices and fast turnaround times. Once we have assisted in identifying the best product for your application, it will usually be delivered to you the following day. For bespoke applications we have our CAD engineers on hand to assist in looking through drawings in order to get all dimensional data prepared for our production team. Many customers who do not have drawings for us to work with, are more than happy to send us their old/used insulation materials which we are happy to work from – this offers us all dimensional data required but also allows us to upgrade the material to a more suitable grade based on their application and operating temperature. Recent applications include covering Industrial SCR Reactors along with full insulation kits for Caterpillar stationary engines. Earlier this year we also supplied a range of our insulation materials for the Formula One testing in Bahrain; and very recently we supply heat insulating materials for some GT40 replicas in order to keep the temperature down for track days, especially when stationary tests were being carried out! Formaldehyde Exhaust Catalyst – Guascor 520kW
Agriemach have supplied a Bespoke Designed Exhaust Catalyst for specifically targeting Formaldehyde in the exhaust of a 520kW Guascor HGM 240. The customer required a reduction to under 40mg per metre cubed which was safely achieved in our sizing. However as no provision for the catalyst had previously been made, we designed a bespoke catalyst to be installed at the inlet of the Exhaust Gas Heat Exchanger choosing an appropriate cell density to allow us to hit the target value and work within the backpressure limits given to us. Agriemach offers a wide range of exhaust catalyst solutions such as, Oxidation Catalysts, Three Way Catalysts, Catalysts for VOC Abatement and of course our SCR DeNOx range.

Exhaust Spark Arrestor – Caterpillar 950
This 146kW Wheel Loader required one of our Spark Arrestors to be fitted in order to comply with site safety requirements. Our Spark Arrestors are the most compact and efficient units available for their size. As the exhaust gas flows out radially between the diffuser discs, the noise is first dissipated and then diffused over a quiet 360 degree pattern. After leaving the discs the exhaust path curves inward toward the centreline and is rapidly cooled by mixing with the surrounding air. We offer an optional resonator for additional sound attenuation and each unit comes complete with a Certificate of Conformity. Our Supertrapp Spark Arrestors are available from stock, so this customer was very pleased to have his appropriately sized Spark Arrestor delivered the following morning.

Chalwyn Valves – Nissan UK
Agriemach were chosen for the supply and installation of Chalwyn Air Intake Shutdown Valves and Spark Arrestors to a selection of Nissan Navara vehicles for Nissan UK. These 187 bhp vehicles were delivered to our workshop in Sussex where our engineers adapted, installed and road tested each unit to ensure they were set correctly. These Navara`s were then collected and certified ready for use on the Petrochemical sites they were ordered for. Selective Catalytic Reduction – SCR Catalysts
Agriemach have supplied a UK Salad producing Greenhouse application with their replacement SCR and Oxidation Catalysts to offer a more cost effective and efficient solution. The 8x7 size reactors required two of their 378 litre SCR rows to be replaced, along with a single Oxidation row which we upgraded to a FeCrAl substrate offering a reduction in backpressure yet with an increase of reactive surface area, all in a narrower package. Due to the efficiency of the Catalysts we supply, this particular site achieved a Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) reduction down to 9 ppm, a Conversion of Carbon Monoxide (CO) to 0 (fresh), and Ethylene to less than 200ppb. DustBuster Engine Air Precleaners – Pass The Test
Agriemach Dustbuster Engine Air Precleaners have recently passed a strict air induction test with a UK machine manufacturer, outperforming the efficiency of others available on the market. Our KC range of precleaners consist of a steel housing with static vanes and a rust-proof rotor mounted on dual ball bearings. The outlet tube can be adapted with the supplied reducing sleeves for a variety of outlet choices. Our Engine Air Precleaners are powder coated for a durable, corrosion resistant finish. KC91 removal efficiency at 520 CFM – 94% – which offer a significant cost saving on replacement air intake filters. Formula One – High Temperature Silica Sleeve
Earlier this year Agriemach were proud to have supplied High Temperature Silica Sleeve to Formula One teams during testing in Bahrain. Our High Temperature Silica Sleeve is ideal for protection of delicate components and personnel from exposure to high temperature exhausts and pipes. Our Sleeve is braided into a strong and flexible sleeve from silica yarns. The thick walls of this sleeving provides enhanced thermal protection up to 982 Celsius direct with a melt point of 1649 Celsius. Crawler Crane DPF - Crossrail
Agriemach have recently supplied and installed a Diesel Particulate Filter for a Crawler Crane Hire company wishing to operate on a Crossrail site in Central London. Our Energy Saving Trust Approved filters were used which has now made this machine compliant. The stainless steel filter assembly was lifted into place, secured and installed by midday which also included the installation of the backpressure alarm. SCR System for Biodiesel Application
Agriemach have recently supplied a Selective Catalytic Reduction System for use on a Biodiesel fuelled application in the UK. This challenging application required a high reduction of NOx which due to the composition of the fuel, required our system to be sized with three dosing pumps and plenty of Catalyst in order to reach the desired target values.

MINE-X Passive Regenerating DPF - Liebherr
Agriemach have recently supplied and installed one of their MINE-X Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filters to the Liebherr LR624 Crawler Loader. Agriemach have helped Liebherr UK make this machine compliant for use on Crossrail sites by capturing a 99% Soot Filtration efficiency along with converting the Carbon Monoxide in the exhaust gas, making air quality better for site personnel and the nearby public in central London.
