The Agriemach service team were out in force yesterday calibrating NOx Sensors, changing urea filters and testing emissions in prime power energy centres within London. The need for optimised power production has not gone away and our goal of “clean air” remains the same at all times. Exhaust Gas After-treatment is simply what we do. This example photo from one visit yesterday demonstrates the efficiency of our NOxMASTER Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems for reducing NOx Emissions. This Natural Gas CHP has been emissions optimised to increase its efficiency resulting in a higher financial return for the client. The CHP emissions have been set near 850mg/Nm3@5%O2 allowing the SCR to reduce the NOx required for the local emissions permit achieving a 98.69% reduction efficiency to 11mg/Nm3@5%O2. Cummins QSK60-G22 | NOx Reduction for the Medium Combustion Plant Directive
Production is still live at Agriemach with engineered solutions still leaving to be installed at their new home for cleaning exhaust gas emissions from generators. This particular application for a Cummins QSK60-G22 (2.2MWe) required a skid mounted NOxMASTER SCR System with integrated silencing to 80dB(A)@1m as well as a 2-into-1 manifold to combine the exhaust gas flow and allow NOx reduction stability to below 190mg/Nm3@15%O2 in line with the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD). Integrating Silencing Functionality into our NOxMASTER SCR Systems reduces the overall footprint of fitting the exhaust gas after-treatment which offers the required solution for our customers each and every time. These 5 Volvo TWD 1643GE generators running on used cooking oil are now compliant for the MCPD (Medium Combustion Plant Directive) requirements for NOx 190mg/Nm3@15%O2. Agriemach Ltd were chosen as the preferred partner for this retro-fit installation where we Designed, Manufactured, Delivered, Installed, Commissioned and Project Managed from start to finish. Not only NOx reduction, but integrated silencing was engineered into this retro-fit solution, achieving 75dB(A)@1m. This design reduced the installation space required and overall footprint of the installation. In fact, it was not much bigger than the original “Silencer Only” installation! Spark Arrestor and Chalwyn Valve – Engineered Solutions
Agriemach have been the UK`s Number 1 supplier of Exhaust Spark Arrestors and Chalwyn Air Intake Shut Down Valves for over 30 years. We have a vast stock holding of many different sizes for small, medium and large engines which enables us to offer a next day delivery service. Engineering solutions for our customers is one of our core strengths – we just love a challenge. We were approached by a new customer to engineer a solution for a Husqvarna FS 410D Floor Saw where a combined Air Inlet Shut Down Valve and Air Filter was required, but had no installation space or support. Due to the operation of the saw, moving parts and blade guards; this was not so easy. After taking time to consider all moving parts and design flexibility required, Agriemach engineered a bespoke mounting system which catered for the harsh environment, vibration, moving parts and blade guard to deliver a fully working and successful solution. The application also required one of our popular Exhaust Spark Arrestors which we fitted with ease and without requiring any further modification to this machine. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) | 2G Gas CHP | Digester Gas
Agriemach recently completed the installation of the NOxMASTER™ Silenced SCR System for this 2G packaged 900kW Biogas CHP (Combined Heat & Power System) which will now be compliant for the requested NOx ELV 140mg/Nm3@5%O2 . Agriemach were asked to engineer a retro-fit solution to keep within the backpressure requirement of the complete exhaust system while engineering a bespoke design to fit in place of the existing silencers.
