The Piusi Ocio 2.0 Fuel Tank Gauge is a continuous reading, digital tank level monitoring device for use on tanks up to 4 metres high. The system displays the fuel tank contents in a percentage, mm or litres reading depending upon the individual user preference. The Ocio 2.0 tank level indicator differs from the standard Ocio in that it is set up to work with the interactive PC based Self Service 2.0 software package. This ‘plug and play’ software that connects to the PC using internet connection, allows the manager to set up and view the tanks on site and easily monitor the real time fuel levels of the tanks from the comfort of their office whenever they need to. As well as easily being able to identify when a tank’s fuel level is running low, the Ocio 2.0 fuel tank gauge allows the manager to set up low level alarm that can be used to control whether the pump lets a user dispense fuel when the tank reaches a certain low level. For a full description of the Piusi Self Service 2.0 fuel management software benefits, please click here to view the datasheet. Continuous reading, hydrostatic tank gauge Digital display reading in %, level or volume When level alert is activated, the display flashes 2 relays for connecting to level alarm or BMS LAN version for monitoring a tank with no existing 2.0 unit RS485 version for connecting to existing 2.0 unit Stainless steel weight available for use with AdBlue™ 230v

The Mains Operated Multi-Compartment Fuel Tank Alarm has three functions; to detect and warn of a tank overfill, a high/low liquid level and a bund leak. If this fuel tank alarm identifies any of these issues, the zone in question will light up on the alarm’s screen, combined with an alarm sounder and flashing orange strobe, which provides the user with a warning. Each zone can be configured in any of the three functions High, Low or Bund, enabling the complete customisation of these fuel tank alarms based upon the user's requirements with a very simple set of electrical jumpers. An option is available complete with three relays, to allow external equipment to be connected to each zone of the tank level alarm such as building management or alarm systems. This overfill and bund alarm also has the additional feature of controlling the pump from the relays (if fitted). When the tank contents are 'low', the pump switches on and stays on until 'high' is reached. Please note: The probes required do not come as standard with the fuel tank alarm box. Please view the accessories table to select the combination you need. Weatherproof IP55 rated box Test and mute functions 90db sounder Automatically reversed float logic for 'low zones' Accepts multiple voltages of 110v, 230v, 12v and 24v Suitable for diesel, biodiesel, light oils and water based fluids Option available with 3 relays

Agriemach offer Exhaust Gas Temperature Data Logging as a complimentary service for customers looking to fit Exhaust Gas Aftertreatment devices such as Diesel Particulate Filters, Diesel Oxidation Catalysts, NOx Abatement Systems or even Cartridge Type Soot Filters known as Non-Regenerative. The reason for this data logging is to give us the best insight of that specific application. This data tells us the typical operating and load profile which allows us to offer the best suited technology. This data is very important from an efficiency point of view; if we take a Passive Regenerating Wall Flow Diesel Particulate Filter for example, this technology choice requires sustained operating load and exhaust gas temperature in order to regenerate, otherwise it would simply saturate and become a maintenance nightmare – with our complimentary data logging service, if there is any doubt over the operating profile of the engine, this will tell us what we need to know. Operating temperature also affects Oxidation catalyst efficiency, and on certain applications a retro-fit catalyst cannot be installed in the recommended location as stated in our Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual. If we can take data from the best installation area of the exhaust, we can then run a calculation which will give us expected conversion efficiency data. Essential information. Non-regenerative soot filters do not need high temperatures to operate efficiently, in fact because they are collecting carbon (soot) from the engine exhaust, we don’t want that to get too hot – so by taking temperature data from the end of the exhaust system until typical load, we can see exactly what the filter will endure, again enabling us to offer the most suitable product for our customers. A complimentary service to ensure that our customer support and recommended product is second to none.

Agriemach supply Chalwyn Air Intake Shutdown Valves throughout the UK and Europe, engineering the inlet and outlet to the specific inside diameter of the air intake hose. Air intake shutdown valves (often referred to as AISV, ASOV or Emergency Shutdown valves, ESD) and systems provide emergency overspeed shutdown protection for diesel engines and are the most effective way of preventing a runaway situation. The valves completely block the engine air intake system, cutting off an uncontrolled external fuel source and the air required to keep the engine running. The Chalwyn D and D-AM automatic valves are self-contained with flow actuated overspeed shutdown. They require no external electrical or mechanical input devices. The closing force is provided by the intake air flow passing through the valve. The valve closes automatically when the engine speed exceeds a pre-set point. The valve automatically resets open soon after the engine has stopped, so the engine is ready for re-starting.

Agriemach Engine Air Precleaners (Brand Name: DustBuster Precleaner), are the precleaner of choice for machine manufacturers throughout the world. They are supplied with a Lifetime Guarantee to the original machine to which they are fitted, because they are simply the most durable and reliable precleaner on the market. Leading manufacturers have independently tested our precleaner against others available on the market and we continually manage to outperform our competitors. We offer an engineering service which enables us to adapt our designs to accommodate specific air intake restriction requirements. One part of our large range of DustBusters is the KC Series, a compact and low profile design to fit in the tightest of spaces, or simply offer a more discreet attachment to the air intake assembly. DustBuster Engine Air Precleaners are usually installed in place of the rain cap, dust bowl, or aspirated precleaner (exhaust system). In some applications, they can be mounted directly to the air cleaner. Air enters the system through a pre-screen that removes large debris. It then flows through static vanes causing the air to spin. As the air spins, centrifugal force separates dust, dirt, insects, rain and snow from the air stream. The swirling air drives a high velocity rotor that acts as a blower evacuating contaminants through special discharge ports in the side of the unit. Only purified air flows to the air filter elements.

Agriemach have recently delivered a complete SCR NOx Reducing assembly with a difference. This particular system fitted to a MTU 1.2MW Gas Engine offers both NOx Reduction and Silencing down to 60dB(A)@1m. The system has been fully engineered around the customers’ requirements, with future consideration over possible additional assemblies taken into account. The scope of supply consisted of Consultation, Engineered Design with Silencing Functionality, Production and Delivery, Ancillaries Supply such as Bulk Urea Tank and Urea Transfer Pump, and Bespoke Heat Insulation to Cover both Mixing Duct and Reactor/Silencer with Service Door and Port Access as a consideration over design. AdBlue quality is very important. The specification for the urea solution purity should be according to the standard for engine applications (see ISO 22241-1 (DIN 70070) and by ISO 22241-2 (DIN 70071) for reference). ISO 22241-1 specifies the quality characteristics of the NOx reducing agent and ISO 22241-2 specifies test methods required for determination of the quality characteristics of the NOx reducing agent specified in ISO 22241-1. Made by synthesis only, not diluted. What is NOx? Nitrogen Oxides are a hazard to human health. Scientific evidence links NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide) exposure, ranging from 30 minutes to 24 hours, with adverse respiratory effects including airway inflammation in healthy people – to increased respiratory symptoms in people with asthma. Ozone or Smog is formed when NOx and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) react in the presence of heat and Sunlight. These particles affect anyone that comes into contact with them – they get deep into the respiratory system and alter lung tissue; causing a long term effect on human health. Most Susceptible: Children, the elderly and people with existing lung disease. This is the motivation for legislators to lower the NOx limits.

Agriemach have recently supplied a number of “Direct Muffler Replacement” Diesel Particulate Filters for retro-fit on a selection of Komatsu PC138US-8 Excavators, which will now bring these machines up to NRMM compliance for operating within Central London. Agriemach Diesel Particulate Filters are certified by the Energy Saving Trust and listed on their approved product register, along with Agriemach being an approved supplier and installer. These particular filters from the Agriemach DPF range are passive regenerating, which means as the carbon deposits (soot) are collected, it is burnt off utilising the exhaust gas temperature, along with benefiting from an Oxidation Catalyst in front of the filter for converting CO and HC emissions. The filters are high efficiency and come complete with data loggers and “in cab” monitor display, to ensure that the operator is aware of filter operation at all times. Agriemach offer either fully engineered muffler replacements or standard off-the-shelf designs for NRMM engines up to any size, and stationary engines up to 5MW. The filters offer a 99% efficiency for PM (particle count), 85% PM (gravimetric), 90% CO and 80% for Hyrdrocarbons. Since 2008, heavy duty diesel road vehicles have had to meet emissions standards for PM to avoid being charged for travelling within the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ).The Mayor has recently announced his intention to introduce an ultra low emission zone in central London from 2020. This will require all vehicles to be either zero or ultra low emission. It is also important to take action to reduce emissions from non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) to protect and improve the health of London residents. The latest version of the London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory estimates that in 2010 the NRMM used on construction sites was responsible for 12% of NOx emissions and 15% of PM10 emissions in Greater London. 2015 EMISSION STANDARDS From 1 September 2015 NRMM of net power between 37kW and 560kW used in London will be required to meet the standards set out below. This will apply to both variable and constant speed engines for both NOx and PM. These standards will be based upon engine emissions standards set in EU Directive 97/68/EC and its subsequent amendments. NRMM used on the site of any major development within Greater London will be required to meet Stage IIIA of the Directive as a minimum; and NRMM used on any site within the Central Activity Zone or Canary Wharf will be required to meet Stage IIIB of the Directive as a minimum. From 1 September 2020 the following will apply: NRMM used on any site within Greater London will be required to meet Stage IIIB of the Directive as a minimum. NRMM used on any site within the Central Activity Zone or Canary Wharf will be required to meet Stage IV of the Directive as a minimum. These requirements may be met using the following techniques; • Reorganisation of NRMM fleet • Replacing equipment (with new or second hand equipment which meets the policy) • Retrofit abatement technologies • Re-engining All eligible NRMM should meet the standards above unless it can be demonstrated that the machinery is not available or that a comprehensive retrofit to meet both PM and NOx emission standards is not feasible. In this situation every effort should be made to use the least polluting equipment available including retrofitting technologies to reduce particulate matter emissions. These NRMM emissions standards will apply to all construction projects which are active from September 2015 including those which commenced before this date. An inventory of all NRMM should be kept on-site stating the emission limits for all equipment. Towards the end of last year Agriemach commissioned their Selective Catalytic Reduction NOx Reducing System at the New Alder Hey Childrens Hospital – a hospital that cares for over 270,000 children and families every year; with the new hospital design being inspired by children. The scope of works supplied by Agriemach for this Guascor Biodiesel CHP consisted of Consultation, Engineered Design, Production and Delivery of the complete SCR system. The requirement was to bring the raw NOx down by 90% which was achieved with ease. The developers listened carefully to children who shared their own vision for the new hospital and thousands of families took part in one of the NHS’s biggest ever public consultations. In fact, many suggestions like better access to fresh air and nature. A hospital built entirely in a park is something new in the treatment and care of children. It’s not just a first for the UK, there’s nothing like it anywhere in Europe. Alder Hey in the Park is inviting, warm, happy, calming and educational, essentially a home-from-home for children who need care. It has spacious wards where patients can enjoy privacy and dignity with plenty of space to accommodate parents. Although only being a tiny part of such a huge development, Agriemach feel honoured to have been able to help with such a project while working with a leading CHP packager.
