NOxMASTER™ SCR | Deliveries & Installations
The emissions team at Agriemach have been managing a number of NOxMASTER™ SCR deliveries and installations over the last few weeks which has seen our installation teams around the country from Manchester to London. Not all customers are asked to meet MCPD (Medium Combustion Plant Directive) NOx limits of 190mg/Nm3@15%O2. Some are asked to go even lower if their site is situated in an area where Emission Limit Values (ELV) are already in exceedance. Agriemach engineer solutions to order. Our deliveries over the last few weeks have included solutions for 190mg/Nm3@15%O2 - also 150mg/Nm3@5%O2 (keep an eye on that oxygen dilution) and another for 75mg/Nm3@5%O2. All are Diesel generators and all with varying integrated silencing requirements - one down to 60dB(A)@1m. Engineered solutions - it’s what we do! Bespoke Thermal Insulation Jackets | USA
Agriemach have recently completed the delivery of 6x shipping containers full of bespoke thermal insulation for an industrial production mill all the way across the water in the United States of America. Our client wanted a flexible thermal solution using our bespoke jacket system which would allow for high thermal efficiency and easy access to all service doors, sensors, flanges and monitoring ports. The design also needed to be easy to install, with each jacket having its own unique identification code which was matched against sectional exploded drawings. The Agriemach Insulation Team offer bespoke thermal insulation solutions for applications from Generator Exhausts to Pipes & Valves. Selective Catalytic Reduction | Data Centres | NOxMASTER™
January has been a busy month for the emissions team with our NOxMASTER™ SCR systems being installed and commissioned across various Datacentre sites, along with more bespoke systems being designed for delivery over the coming months. The need for reducing exhaust gas emissions inline with environmental permit conditions is an ongoing requirement in the power generation sector. Agriemach, having been in the market since 1976 (that’s right, a 50th party due next year!) have the longest UK reference list for bespoke design solutions in exhaust gas aftertreatment. (Site visits available on request) Most are challenging – some more challenging than others - all are achievable! The emissions team like a challenge and with certain applications having a 98% NOx reduction & 60dB(A)@1m Silencing requirement along with very little space, we work with our clients to design suitable solutions and overcome these site challenges. Agriemach also provide a country wide support service where an Agriemach Engineer can be onsite the very same day in some cases, if the need should arise. Coupled with our AdBlue tank telemetry and AdBlue delivery service, this also means that the team will ensure that systems are healthy and tanks are topped up. NOxMASTER™ SCR Commissioning | Perkins 4012-46TWG3A
Commissioning has completed for the new NOxMASTER™ SCR installation on these 3x Perkins 4012-46TWG3A 1263kW generators across the water in Ireland. This retro-fit installation has enabled the operator to meet the NOx limit of under 190mg/Nm3@15%O2 to comply with their permit conditions under the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD). The engineered NOxMASTER™ solution had to be sensitive to the backpressure on these engines as they had a good few years under their belt. Thankfully as Agriemach engineer solutions to suit the application each and every time; the backpressure was low and the engines were purring during hot commissioning. Bespoke AdBlue® Tanks | NOxMASTER™ SCR
Space is always at a premium on any new or retro-fit power gen application and this photo is no exception! Agriemach engineer solutions because “off the shelf” does not work in the field of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems and the associated equipment required, such as AdBlue® storage tanks. These tanks have been designed to fit in this tight location, but with the required capacity based on minimum running hours of the system. The tanks provide all of the required alarms and live level read out expected and also a link to the BMS system for remote monitoring.
