NOxMASTER™ SCR | 2400 kWe | 95% NOx Reduction
The Agriemach installation teams are working on multiple sites this week and here we have the first of 20x skid mounted NOxMASTER™ SCR Systems being assembled. These systems have been engineered for ease of installation off site, in order to “plug and play” on site when lifted into final position. This significantly reduces installation activity at the end customers facility and provides significant benefit to the project delivery. These 2.4MWe NOxMASTER™ systems will reduce the NOx emitted by the engine by 95% with the added benefit of integrated silencing down to 75 dB(A)@1m. Our “in house” customisable PLC programme offers Modbus connectivity for each system, providing full visibility of the SCR dosing system and exhaust gas conditions that are being monitored. Not only perfect for Environment Agency reporting for permits to run; this also offers live visibility of the system health and operating performance in a live continuous state for the client. NOxMASTER™ SCR | 19.2MWe Mixer/Silencer Assemblies | 75dB(A)@1m
While many people are taking a break over the summer holidays; Agriemach have a number of new projects being prepared for delivery to site. These 8 combined Mixer/Silencer assemblies are part of a complete engineered solution for our client. Agriemach have designed these NOxMASTER™ Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems to reduce the Nitrogen Oxides emitted from the engine by a rather significant 98% along with combining silencing functionality down to 75dB(A)@1m. NOxMASTER™ SCR | 3.6MWe Generators | 10.8MW Installation
This week Agriemach have commissioning teams out completing handovers at new energy centres; AdBlue tanks being delivered and also more heading into production, as well as new SCR deliveries to both sites and packagers. This particular photo is one of the Agriemach installation teams onsite this week for a customer who have supplied 10.8MWe of new diesel power which requires the exhaust gas emissions to be brought down to MCPD (Medium Combustion Plant Directive) specification for site compliance. This NOxMASTER™ Engineered solution required integrated silencing to 80dB(A)@1m as part of the scope and in order to reduce the overall footprint of the solution. As you can appreciate; 3.6MWe of diesel power generation from this reciprocating engine produces plenty of exhaust gas and noise when running on load; so the system is certainly not small which is why our integrated silencing functionality was a perfect addition for this customer and this application. This site will also be using HVO Fuel to feed these generators. A common request we are seeing more and more for our exhaust gas after-treatment systems to work with. Agriemach are used to working with plenty of different fuel types. NOxMASTER™ plants are already running on B100 and used cooking oil – so this is no challenge at all. Diesel Oxidation | 3-Way Catalysts | NOxMASTER™ SCR
It was difficult not to notice a selection of small catalysts going through final quality checks today when walking through dispatch and looking in amazement at just the physical size difference of our catalysts depending on the application. On the left of this photo the very small catalysts are in fact Diesel Oxidation Catalysts for engines up to 40kW – 45mm exhaust diameter and their job will be to effectively convert Carbon Monoxide to Carbon Dioxide and also reduce the Hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas. Although these are only “tiddlers” they will be carrying out high efficiency reduction rates for these machines and assisting with the general air quality for the people working near them. The larger catalyst in the middle of the eight smaller ones is a 3-Way Catalyst to be fitted to a 150kW Natural Gas Stoichiometric CHP operating at Lambda 1 for the conversion of Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbons and the reduction of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx). This catalyst has quite a bit more work to do than the previous oxidation ones and requires fine control to avoid Lambda swings from the engine, incorporating an UEGO Sensor Port, along with suitable exhaust gas expansion over the catalytic surface – a diffuser plate is part of the inlet design to assist with flow dynamics. Then we move onto the photo on the right hand side which is one of our NOxMASTER™ SCR Catalyst Exhaust Systems, complete with integrated silencing. What a difference in size; however this application is for a 2,145kW Diesel Generator with a considerable amount more exhaust gas to treat and a silencing requirement down to 70dB(A)@1m. 40kW | 150kW | 2,145kW respectively. No matter what size or fuel type the application is, Agriemach offer a solution to cater for Exhaust Gas Emissions reduction. It`s what we do! Three brand new 3.6MW Diesel generators are to be fitted with our NOxMASTER™ SCR exhaust systems with integrated silencing functionality down to 80 dB(A)@1m and to achieve an 87% reduction of Nitrogen Oxides from the exhaust gas – engineered to suit the requirement. NOxMASTER™ SCR Retro-Fit | 16.8MW Diesel | 98% NOx Reduction
The snow may have tried to slow the projects team down last week, but everyone was onsite ready to go for this 16.8MW SCR Retro-fit. It took only a matter of days to get the NOxMASTER™ systems secured and in place while other phases of the retro-fit adaptions continued. These particular Agriemach NOxMASTER™ SCR Systems are engineered to reduce the NOx on these Diesel generators by 98% along with having integrated silencing functionality down to 80 dB(A)@1m. A high reduction of NOx, but nothing we are not already used to! It’s what we do. Soon the focus will move from project delivery to not overcooking the Christmas Turkey – but until then, the projects team continue to power on right up until the 23rd December.
