Exhaust Insulation Wrap

The original Exhaust Insulating Header Wrap was developed over 23 years ago by Thermo-Tec. Exhaust Insulating Header Wrap is an innovative way to create more horsepower and reduce under-hood temperatures.

The Thermo-Tec wrap effectively improves the scavenging of exhaust gases by the headers from the engine's combustion chambers.

Wrapping headers maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures. Exhaust Insulating Wrap withstands continuous heat up to 2000°F, and contains no asbestos.

Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by Thermo-Tec - Thermal Conduction Technology (TCT) - that conducts heat across the wrap's surface. This coating controls heat build-up and dissipation.

Excellent product — exactly as described.

Used this on a JCB 3CX turbo downpipe. Fits perfectly, holds up very well to heat cycles. Much better than the fibreglass wrap I used previously — no itching, easier to handle. Will definitely be ordering again.

Great value, fast delivery.

Good quality wrap for the price. Arrived next day which was great. The 50mm width covered my headers nicely with a bit of overlap. Holds up well after a few heat cycles.

Decent product, application tricky without soaking first.

Wrap itself is good quality but I'd strongly advise soaking in water for 10–15 mins before wrapping — it makes it much more pliable and easier to apply. Didn't do this first time and it was frustrating. Product is fine though, no complaints.
