The Kolor Kut Ullage Paste, or gauging paste as it is otherwise known, is used to indicate the fuel level when no fuel tank gauge exists. It is also useful for underground tanks to indicate the space remaining. Ullage paste should be applied to a dipstick and lowered into the bottom of the fuel tank. The portion of the dipstick that comes into contact with the fuel will change colour showing how high the level is. The Kolor Kut gauging paste provides instant detection for all fluids, however heavy oils may take a few seconds.

Excellent product — exactly as described.

Used this on a JCB 3CX turbo downpipe. Fits perfectly, holds up very well to heat cycles. Much better than the fibreglass wrap I used previously — no itching, easier to handle. Will definitely be ordering again.

Decent product, application tricky without soaking first.

Wrap itself is good quality but I'd strongly advise soaking in water for 10–15 mins before wrapping — it makes it much more pliable and easier to apply. Didn't do this first time and it was frustrating. Product is fine though, no complaints.
