The Aluminium Lockable Oil Tank Cap is designed to cap off a tank's fill point in order to prevent dripping and secure it against a thief siphoning fuel from its easiest access point. Please note: This oil tank locking cap, consists of two separately sold parts; a two ring lugged cap and a fill pipe adaptor.
The fill pipe adaptor fits to the male pipe thread, and a small screw is tightened to secure to the pipe thread you are connecting to. The ring lugged cap screws onto the male thread of the fill pipe adaptor, and the aluminium bar is put in place to prevent the oil tank locking cap from turning past this point. A padlock is then applied to the oil tank lock to keep the bar in position and ensure that only authorised users can access a tank’s fuel,
