The Cim-Tek Tank Dryer is a fuel tank water absorber, which has been developed in response to the increasing concerns regarding water contamination of fuel. By checking for, and removing any unwanted water, the Tank Dryer reduces the damaging impact that this contamination has on machinery and vehicles. The Tank Dryer, or ‘tank sock’ as it is often referred to, contains highly absorbent silica gel, which when lowered into the tank absorbs up to 350ml of water.

Excellent product — exactly as described.

Used this on a JCB 3CX turbo downpipe. Fits perfectly, holds up very well to heat cycles. Much better than the fibreglass wrap I used previously — no itching, easier to handle. Will definitely be ordering again.

Decent product, application tricky without soaking first.

Wrap itself is good quality but I'd strongly advise soaking in water for 10–15 mins before wrapping — it makes it much more pliable and easier to apply. Didn't do this first time and it was frustrating. Product is fine though, no complaints.
